Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to run your account and return your results. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your content to train our own models.

We collect three categories of information:

• Account information — your name, email address, and authentication credentials, provided when you sign up.
• Billing information — your subscription plan and payment status, managed through Paddle. We do not store your card details ourselves.
• Content you submit — the text you paste or upload for analysis, rewriting, humanizing, or naturalizing.
• Usage data — basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, used to keep the service reliable and secure.

Text you submit is processed to generate the analysis or rewrite you asked for, and is returned to you.

• We do not use your content to train our own models.
• Submitted text may be processed by Anthropic, the maker of Claude, to power analysis, rewriting, naturalization, and humanization. Anthropic processes this text on our behalf to deliver your results.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your content with third parties beyond the service providers listed below, and only to the extent needed to run the service.

We rely on a small number of providers to operate Writing Inspector. Each processes data only as needed to perform its role:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for your account and content.
• Paddle — payment processing and subscription billing. Paddle acts as our merchant of record and handles checkout, invoicing, and applicable sales tax.
• Anthropic — processes submitted text to provide analysis, rewriting, naturalization, and humanization.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery for our website and application.

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact karimsaad687@gmail.com.

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies or sell audience data to ad networks.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users promptly if a breach materially affects their data.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact karimsaad687@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.

Writing Inspector is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
